Hey TWCC Family!

If you have been around the TWCCKids Ministry for any amount of time, my prayer is you know our desire is that every child who walks through our doors experiences a real God who loves them and meets them where they are at. Through play, music, games and lessons, our hope is that every single child is learning about the love of God, to love God and to love others! In order to make sure this can happen for ALL KIDS, we’ve been working on some pretty amazing things over at TWCCKids!

The first amazing thing is… Starting on April 2nd, and on the first Sunday of every month, we have a BRAND NEW classroom opening up at our Olive Campus! The YES Room is a classroom specifically for children with Special Needs. This room is called The YES Room because 1) YES, you are welcome here! 2) YES, you can learn about God! and 3) YES, you have a purpose for your life! With the help of one of the TWCCKids team members, who has over 30 years working with children and teenagers with Special Needs, we are creating a safe and fun place where every individual can learn about God in a way that works for their cognitive abilities. We want TWCCKids to be a safe place of respite for all families, regardless of the needs of their family.

The second amazing thing is… We are starting a new learning opportunity specifically for elementary kids. The “66 Book Club” will be for TWCCKids students who can memorize and recite all 66 books of the bible! Once they can do this, their picture will go up on the wall as a member of the “66 Book Club” and they will earn their very own personalized bible from TWCCKids! Additionally, there will now be a monthly incentive for all kids to memorize and recite our monthly Bible verse!

The third amazing thing is… TWCCKids Ministry is GROWING!! Can you believe- Every👏Single👏Classroom across both campuses is experiencing growth! There is space for more lead teachers, more assistant teachers and more support volunteers at BOTH campuses! If God is leading you to join the team, the time is now. Classroom training is available for all positions. It is a very exciting time to be part of the TWCCKids Ministry Team! We are beginning trauma-informed Children’s Ministry training and working together to update the classrooms.

I am so confident that God has HUGE plans ahead for each and every kid. My hope is that the TWCCKids Ministry is your partner as your raise up your children! This next generation has been attacked from many directions over the past few years. Being a parent right now is hard. But YOU are equipped and anointed by God to raise your children. Keep fighting for your children! Keep praying for them! The investment you are making each and every day will have an eternal impact! Please know we are praying for your family! If you have any specific prayer requests, we are happy to pray with you.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

In His Hope and Love,

Alicia “Allie” Varela

Here’s what’s coming up in TWCCKids Ministry

THE MONTH OF APRIL: MUSICAL MEMORY VERSE CHALLENGE
Continuing this month is this quarter’s Family Activity Packet! This quarter, kids will learn how to spend time with God by engaging with Scripture in a fun and creative way. Kids will select a verse to memorize, put that verse to a song of their choice, and add their own creativity! There will be special surprises for any kids who want to perform their verse song for Allie or their teachers on a Sunday!! Pick up your FREE Family Activity Packet at the TWCCKids Check-In table before or after service.

SUNDAY, APRIL 9TH @ 10AM: Resurrection Sunday Easter Service
This Easter, we will be having ONE combined outdoor service to celebrate Christ’s resurrection! Make plans to join us at the Central Campus before you celebrate with your family at home. Bring a chair and a blanket for the kids. It is going to be an incredible service of celebration and remembrance of Christ’s actions on the cross.

SUNDAY, APRIL 16TH @ 10AM: Family Day & Chili Cook-Off Competition
On the Sunday after Easter, bring your friends and family out to hang out with your church family. Immediately after service, we will be having a BBQ and Chili Cook-Off. There will be bounce houses for the kids and yard games for the adults. Make sure you sign up to enter your chili in the competition!

What we're teaching

RISE & SHINE: A 5-WEEK SERIES FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT ON EASTER

SERIES OVERVIEW:

On a farm, life has a daily rhythm (for plants, animals, and people, too). “Life” is what this series is all about, because we’re talking about Easter and Jesus’ triumph over death! In this five-week series, kids will explore the stories leading up to and following Easter Sunday. Together, they’ll discover we can stick with Jesus even when our days are dark, and that because Jesus is alive, we can spend our days meeting with him, trusting he’s there for us, and sharing his love — not just today, but every day!
